Texas Friends

I flew back to Texas in January to work my final days for Baylor. Rhonda took amazing care of me (drove me around, fed me, packed my lunch) and Cass gave up her bedroom for me. I was so spoiled I almost didn't want to come home. After my final shift I had breakfast with my favorite ED friends!

Food was great.
Company was the best.

Leaving them for the last time was super sad!

Living like no one else

So we have become BIG fans of Dave Ramsey

Randy starting listening to his show when we were in Texas.

We are currently taking his classes through

Financial Peace University

He is great...it's not rocket science..but basic common sense ideas.

Here are his seven baby steps...

1. $1000 in an emergency fund

2. Pay off ALL debt except the house utilizing the debt snowball

3. Three to six months expenses in savings

4. Invest 15% of your household income into Roth IRA's and pre-tax retirement plans

5. College funding

6. Pay off your home early

7. Build wealth and give

Snow

We miss our Texas friends....

we think it is crazy how much SNOW they are getting...

our weather is FanTastIc here in Arizona...

but a part of me wished we were there to build this snowman

Zoo Time

This Quinn family was so glad to have the Tucson Quinn family come visit! We hadn't seen them in forever and had never even met baby Cambree! We had fun just hanging out, catching up, and a fun trip to the Phoenix Zoo!Isn't cousin Caylee just the cutest thing ever! We think she likes us and she had a great time playing with the kids.

Go Suns!

For Christmas the boys in the family got tickets to the Suns vs. the Lakers (back on Dec 28th). Trevor decided he didn't really want to go and so our good friend Chad lucked out and got to hang out with us. We were surrounded by Kobe fans and so we were more than excited when the Suns pulled off the W and we didn't have to hear from them much! Orange and Purple Power!

Nicolas had a great time and is such a fan of basketball (makes his mom so happy)!
